Our story

ZenTreasury was founded in Helsinki in 2016 by Lars Nevalainen, around one idea: financial contract accounting should be clear, controlled and easy to verify. The name carries the same idea, a little more Zen in treasury and financial accounting. In practice it means keeping the contract, its financial logic and the resulting numbers connected, so a schedule, a journal or a disclosure traces back to the agreement behind it.

We stay close to our customers and build ZenTreasury around the finance and treasury processes they actually run. ZenTreasury has grown from customer revenue since 2016. We remain founder-owned and continue to invest in the platform for the long term.

The team

ZenTreasury is run by a senior team across Helsinki and Dubai. Customers work directly with the people responsible for sales, customer operations and engineering.
